Jo Dunkley

Jo is based at Princeton University in the States but works with a team of researchers spread across the globe looking at what happened when the universe was less than 100,000 years old.

As Jo explains, she doesn’t just look at planets or stars she studies ‘big lumps’ of space to see if it behaves in the way we expect. To cosmologists like Jo size really does matter! If it isn’t bigger than our Solar System she isn’t interested. And why is her work important? Let her tell you in her own words.
What do you do when you are not working?
